The Wiseco 1890XE is a 48.00mm piston ring set specifically designed for various small-displacement Honda, Yamaha, and Polaris engines.   

Key Fitment Requirements

• Piston Brand: Like all Wiseco rings, these are proprietary and will only fit Wiseco pistons. They are not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket brands.   

• Bore Size: Specifically for a 48.00mm cylinder bore.   

• Identification: The ring type and bore size are typically stamped on the dome of your existing Wiseco piston.

The "XE" designation refers to a specific three-ring configuration designed for 4-stroke performance:

• Top Ring: 1.0mm alloy steel, ferrox-coated and chrome-faced for high-heat durability.   

• Middle Ring: 1.2mm cast iron, phosphate-coated with a taper face for oil scraping.   

• Oil Ring: 2.5mm three-piece assembly (stainless steel spacer and chrome faced rails).
